Cass Philippou (RM's in-house Maritime Archeologist) returns, bringing Vicki Richards, conservation scientist from WAMuseum, to talk about the excavation of the Clarence shipwreck. We’ll explore what’s required for an operation of this scale - excavating, sampling, recording, photographing, x-raying and ultimately reburying the site together with its artefacts.
