This time we look at the trickier side of riding, whether it's starting, or dealing with a big fall. We speak with Isobel Knowles about her short film I Fell Off My Bike, showing in October at Fed Square as a part of the Next Wave Time Lapse program. Then, it's unicycles at last month's Melbourne Juggling Convention. Finally, a chat about Jika Jika Community Centre's Learning To Ride From Scratch, teaching grown-ups how to ride. Bring out the bandaids and training wheel stories, it's time to get up on your bike!Special thanks to Isobel for the extra bike sounds from her film, which shows Thursdays in October 5 – 6:30pm, and will be a part of the upcoming Bicycle Film Festival in Melbourne – stay tuned for details! |

We're back! This time, to celebrate the arrival of Spring, Along for the Ride talks to Ian Temby at the Department of Sustainability and Environment learns a little bit more about the beauty that is the magpie. Then, it's off to Castlemaine to speak with Paddy O'Sullivan about a progam called Blokes on Bikes. Plus, as always, upcoming events and a little bit of music to listen to as you ride.And, though Triple R's 2009 Radiothon is over, it's not to late to subscribe and/or pay up your pledges and be eligible for some fantastic prizes!
