For our last 2011 show, we spoke to one of the great Melbourne food success stories, Ben Shewry from Attica. In the last few years Ben has won pretty much all of the available food industry awards for his team's work at Attica, including their 53rd placing on the San Pellegrino World's Best Restaurant list. We spoke to him at Ripponlea, where he has recently setup a space to grow food for the restaurant. As we head into summer we also spoke to John at the Victoria Market. Finally we again ended the year with a round-up of what cookbooks you should be considering for your stocking list this year. We asked Maria Tsiliakis from The Essential Ingredient, Tim White from Books for Cooks, and Andrew Robertson from Hill of Content bookstores for their mixed dozen. |
