  • There are some great urban & architectural films showing as part of MIFF’s Our Space serieshttp://miff.com.au/program/our_space including ‘The Triangle Wars’ (about the St. Kilda triangle debate), and ‘The Pool Party’ (about how an abandoned NY swimming pool has been reclaimed for music events) and ‘Detroit Wild City’ (about the so-called abandoned city of Detroit).
  • The Australia Council has now announced it will be holding a 2 part competition process for the new Australian pavilion at the Venice Biennale but that the first stage will be about providing credentials only -http://www.architecture.com.au/dns/2011/August/01082011/01082011DNUVIC1.swf, sign the petition for the process to be an open comp @ www.openhaus.org/petition
