Science Fiction, Fantasy and Historical Radio with Rob Jan. This week: The sixth of seven, two hour Summer holiday specials in which we: go back to the 1960s with Edwardian adventurer out-of-time, Adam Adamant, see the Doctor turn into a cactus in the 80's serial Meglos, sail the seven seas with the new pirate movie Black Swan, chat with Melbourne author Sue Bursztynski about her new werewolf novel, Wolfborn, and bid farewell to actress Susannah York and special effects designer Grant McCune.
Science Fiction, Fantasy and Historical Radio with Rob Jan. This week: The fifth of seven two hour Summer holiday specials in which we: battle robots with Russ Manning's classic comic book character, Magnus, take a collect call from Cthulhu in a superb fan film from the H.P Lovecraft Society, march with the Legions of Rome while leafing through the Roman Soldier's Manual, run screaming from the dire Bruce Campbell double feature, Alien Apocalypse and the Man With The Screaming Brain, land on our feet in Catopolis, and memorialize actors Anne Francis and Peter Postlethwaite. (Whew!).

Zero G 800-801: TO POD, OR NOT TO POD, THAT IS THE QUESTION? OR: MR JANKY'S THE CHRISTMAS POD and MEDITATION POD
Science Fiction, Fantasy and Historical Radio with Rob Jan. Note: Episodes 800 and 801 were primarily music shows where I played a great deal of disreputable Christmas themed tracks and later, a more mellowed out selection of Relaxo-Radio tunes for the post New Year slumpy whumpy times. We have to take out the music for the pods but I was able to extract reviews of the Doctor Who 2010 Christmas Special and a book called Married With Zombies in order to create a short combined podcast so there won't be a gap in the sequence.
3RRR is Australia's best known community radio station. Shows are streamed live from www.rrr.org.au and may be heard in Melbourne by tuning in to 102.7 FM.
