We're back! This time, to celebrate the arrival of Spring, Along for the Ride talks to Ian Temby at the Department of Sustainability and Environment learns a little bit more about the beauty that is the magpie. Then, it's off to Castlemaine to speak with Paddy O'Sullivan about a progam called Blokes on Bikes. Plus, as always, upcoming events and a little bit of music to listen to as you ride.And, though Triple R's 2009 Radiothon is over, it's not to late to subscribe and/or pay up your pledges and be eligible for some fantastic prizes! Up for discussion this month is the remarkable new book "Things we didn't see coming" from author Steven Amsterdam. This title has, deservedly, just been named The Age's book of the year for 2009. We agree, it's certainly a book, and excellent, but is it a novel or a collection of short stories?
