In our first summer broadcast compilation, you’ll hear Barney and Duncan made to sound stupid by the likes of Kate McIntyre (with her Master of Wine-sized brain) and Max Allen with his oh-so-green biodynamic ways. Max also gives cred to the idea that fancy booze gives you less of a hangover than cheap booze.  Cheers!

Well, here we are again at the final show for the year and with the hectic weeks ahead of eating and any other number of holiday activities, Gill's breaking out her Top 5 Tips for well being over the silly season.

We look at:
*Being sun safe without being overly paranoid, remember, a little regular sun is still essential for Vitamin D production.
*Staying hydrated
*Watching out for food poisoning, organizing the xmas fridge, dealing with left overs and foods to keep a close eye on
*Bite & Stings, repellents and remedies
and finally
*A not-so-stern talking to covering harm minimisation relating to the non-food stuffs often partaken in this time of year.

Caller topics cover what to watch out for food-wise when traveling to under-developed countries, dietary recommendations when suffering from inflammatory and circulatory illnesses, treating sunburn, and digestion.

Gill and Health Trip will return next year on Monday, January 12th.  In the mean time, if you need a fix you can subscribe to Gill's newsletter through the new Triple R website (www.rrr.org.au) or as always, check out www.healthtrip.blogspot.com
