A former guest returned for more punishment. (Just kidding.) Dr. Natalie Borg, Protein Chemist at Monash University, returned to update us on her synchrotron analysis of protein crystals and her L'Oreal Australia For Women in Science Fellowship. Retro Techno Dave described the "WOW!" moments from his recent trip to science and technology museums in Denmark. Other stories were: the extent of human long-term memory, the first animals shown to be able to survive the ultra-harsh conditions of space, and a serendipitous benefit to the atmospheric radiation released from the testing of nuclear bombs.
