After a quick chat about how much we dig Bendigo (lots), we started today's show with a report from John at the Queen Victoria Market. Well, it was half a report, because we managed to delete the other half whilst trying to edit it... we've only been doing this for 25-odd years, we'll get better at it one day. Maybe.

Still that allowed us a bit more time to speak to Bacardi's Sebastian Reaburn about his recent trip to New Orleans. We chatted about the mega-conference he way attending, the differences in drinking culture between Australia and the USA, and his presentation on honey as an ingredient for cocktails. He also mixed us a sazerac cocktail, which was amaaaaaazing. You can read more about Seb's travels at his wordpress site.

Continuing the boozey theme we finished the show with the redoubtable Duncan Buchanan from Circe wines. We chatted about the effects of climate change on wine production, and sipping on some 2013 Mornington Peninsula Pinot Noir wondered where this variety will be grown in 20 year's time? We also covered the alternative wine varieties now being planted in Australia, and the gloriousness of matching Italian wine with Italian food.
