Thu, 26 November 2009 All the sparkling highlights of the AOTS Outside-Inside Live Broadcast, from the RRR Letchatorium, plus another hour of crap to fill up space. On this first ever All Over The Shop show in front of a live-ish audience, Stew bemoans the lack of porn mags left on the streets due to the internet's influence on the raincoat brigade, and Leapster explains why footballers would behave better in public if umpires just avoided intervening when they're pummelling each other on field. Also Stew brings several bucketloads of oyster sauce into his marriage, and reveals the appropriate treatment for psoriasis of the nut, and Leapster gives his exclusive story on hash brown insanity, and explains why Richard Wilkins' hair is best left to its own devices. Plus a great deal more, unfortunately. CLASSIFICATION WARNING - There's hardly a swear word that doesn't get a good solid work-out in this plodgecaste, and most of them on numerous occasions, in case you didn't hear them the first time. Thu, 19 November 2009 The big go-home show before the following week's AOTS Outside-Inside Broadcast, when the live audience will probably also feel like going home. Fairly chunky blodgecaste features Stew's Tales of Old Injuh, from his recent holiday, which contain a lot of holy body-burning and references to fecal counts in water. Plus Leapster remarks on the growing Collingwood FC influence on contemporary music, Stew develops the new slang term of "greenheart", Leapster reveals the shock new hosts of the ARIA Awards, Stew gets gas from his in-studio medication, and Larry examines why a moon voyage can be a long time to spend with someone you don't really get on with. CLASSIFICATION WARNING - This show has an unusually high fecal matter count of around 20 million parts per litre, and is riddled with swear words and disgusting concepts. No-one can possibly benefit by listening to it. Comments[9] |
Thu, 29 October 2009 And, Lo, doth the shambles returneth, already, as Maxy fills in for the second week with Leapster while Stew Farrell is away being the BMOC in In-juh. However Stew makes his presence felt, with a report from what sounds like a street riot in Jaipur - a largely incoherent segment where he can't apparently hear Larry at all, which is actually no different from here in the studio most weeks.Other than that Maxy and Leaps stagger down musical memory lane, with some old war stories from the industry, and in Bland Power, Larry struggles, and loses, to new supermarket technology and proves to be a complete idiot twice in the one segment - slightly up on the normal average. CLASSIFICATION WARNING - Just a ton of swearing, plus liberal poo references. And then Stew imports more of each from India. Comments[2] |
Thu, 22 October 2009 Gunga Stew is away seeing In-juh, so Maxy Crawdaddy fills in wiht leapster for the first of three weeks, and the show is instantly such a mess that you'd hardly notice the difference, not that that's entirely Maxy's fault. Anyway, there's some old folks music talk, and, after some preliminary discussion Larry suggests and Maxy agrees that the notion of Australian comedy is not so much difficult as it is impossible. The notion of building a gallows for Andre Rieurrrgh is floated, plus Subcontinental Stew rings in from the Ganges and is brown-eyed by an Australian tourist for his trouble. CLASSIFICATION WARNING - Dirty, horrible rude words all over this plodgecast and down the back of your grandmother's paisley shawl. Maxy doesn't even get five minutes in before feeling right at home and dropping one of the top-shelf ones. Comments[1] |
Thu, 15 October 2009 Big Gunga Farrell is heading off to In-juh (at The Oval, Fawlty) and everyone's giving him crap about, well, crap. That's pretty much the story. Also there's the highly esteemed cultural review, Farrell Up The Arts, and Stew goes nuts about paying too much for a sandwich. And Leapster tees off on that fashion designer elf guy, Karl Lagerphone. It's pretty much your comprehensive entertainment smorgasbord, of, well, crap. CLASSIFICATION NOTATION - Beware the mighty swear-word, which flourishes in its native habitat, on this here plodgasp. From memory most of the big ones get a workout here. Also there's lots of poo references, as usual. Comments[2] |
Thu, 8 October 2009 Stew is off to Slayer and India in that order, which as you'll hear makes Leapster go INSAAAAAANE. On a similar subject, Big Stew defends misunderstood movie psychopaths, and Larry and the BMOC argue about that, the number of plugs on the show, and pretty much everything else as well. Warning - contains usual segments and swear-words. Comments[3] |
