CHRISTCHURCH earthquake recovery special Antony Martin joins us as guest co-host Barnaby Bennett of Project Freerange on the phone from Wellington, discussing design studio responses ( see Design Christchurch website ) from the region, and his book CHUR CHUR Matt Wilkie of W2 Design in Christchurch also joins us to discuss his first hand experience of the Feb 22 quake, and his firm's involvment in assesment and recovery.

Soft opening 5pm (Level 11 corridor gallery) • RMIT and Monash Architecture Programs are running a joint studio out of shopfront in Dandenong and as part of the studio we are hosting a Public Event title OPEN Dandenong this Saturday from 12-3 pm, 78-82 Foster Street Dandenong. • Simon Whibley from Antarctica has curated a series of architecture installations in the window of the Majorca buildingrunning until November, Each of the proposals is a reimagining of the Majorca building, a new facade that is produced at 1:1, and edited into the gallery space - only the segments of the proposed facade that coincide with the volume, area and location of the Majorca windows can be shown • Edwards Moore Architects are running ‘Ask an architect’between 4pm and 7pm every Thursday during September, October and November where participants will be given a half hour consultation, original sketches and other discussion material to assist them in developing their project brief.
